Four hundred riders have registered for the next James Williamson Enduro Challenge, Wingello State Forest, Sunday March 11 2012. With entry numbers capped at 600, there are only two hundred positions left, so tell your friends, and don’t miss out.

With some hot dry weather leading up to the race it was looking like there'd be no mud and some clean racing for a change, but a breif storm the Thursday night before ensure Duncan's Dunk Hole was full of water & mud.

The Australian mountain bike series will take on a whole new look this summer, with two new exciting formats to be introduced which will favour riders and spectators alike.

The 2011/12 season will be split into two, with the cross country riders vying for the ‘All Mountain Cup’ and the downhillers contesting the ‘Gravity Cup’.

Spectators across Australia will have the opportunity to witness the nation’s best riders, with events to be staged in Perth, Canberra, Thredbo, Mount Buller, Adelaide and Newcastle.

As part of the celebrations of Appin’s Bicentenary, the Appin township has engaged mountain bike events specialists Chocolate Foot to run an event as a major focus of the festivities for the 'Appin 200' and thus the Rock Wallaby Mountain Bike enduro is born!

This inaugural event will take place on Sunday 15 May 2011, with the kind assistance of the people of Appin, the Appin Bicentenary committee and Wollongong Mountain Bike Club (WMBC).

Following the success of the inaugural SRAM Singletrack Mind Series, event organiser Chocolate Foot has expanded the series to 6 rounds in 2011. With the ongoing support of the world’s most innovative component manufacturer SRAM, the series will continue to offer excellent prizes and prize money while also offering riders the opportunity to race on the best singletrack in NSW and the ACT.

To ensure future access to this track is maintained PLEASE ... refrain from parking at the bottom of the hill and use the Trail Head parking area located just at the top of the first hill (where the trail-head sign is).

MTBA announces the make-up of the 2010 - 2011 National Series

Rocky Trail Entertainment had a meeting with National Parks representatives last week at Yellomundee Regional Park and decided to cap the Rider Number at 500 this year.
